Let's Go Mets! That's what the crowd was cheering today as we took our Little Lovebug to his first Mets Game at Citi Field. Our five week old was presented with an adorable Mets Build-a-Bear upon entering the park. The Mets won 5:1 against the Houston Astros, which means our Benny is batting 1000! The Mets are Big Daddy Lovebugs team (who has said he'd disown our little guy if he ever strayed to that...other NY team!!! Joking I'm sure!!!) Benny's parents enjoyed delicious burgers and shakes at the Shake Shack, noodles and finished up their trip with ices from Lemon Ice King of Corona. After a well deserved rest after an extremely hot day (It was roughly 90 degrees!), Big Daddy Lovebug read Benny "Hello, Mr. Met" by Rusty Staub. A fantastic end to a fun, long day!
